A little bit about us
Our Association was founded in 1994 by Brian Stockwell. Our aikido has its roots in the Yoshinkan style, and Shihan Stockwell has a lineage which can be traced back to Shioda Sensei (one of Morihei Ueshiba's original students).
Tenchi Ryu is a 'not for profit' organisation run by volunteers and we are registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club. We would like to thank North Devon Council for their support of our club.
Would you like to start aikido?
We offer 3 free sessions - simply choose a class and turn up! You should wear something loose fitting and comfortable (tracksuit bottoms and a loose top are usually fine).
You will need to complete an application form before you begin your first session. You can download one from this site, complete it and bring it with you.
